Testing our design

While I was searching for low-cost test equipment, I found a few but they were being shipped only to USA. || Problem 5 || My brother-in-law was visiting us sometime around the time we were designing the circuit so requested him to buy and bring them for me. We got a DC electronic load to emulate various loading conditions (say different types of phones) and a smart phone based

thermal imaging camera which was used to see the heat gradient while subjecting the design to various load currents, like how different mobiles with different batter sizes would draw.

Our design worked really well the very first time on. There was some issue that we saw with too much heat being generated around the transformer area. We tuned the snubber section of the circuit to bring this down.
