Now was the task of selling the units. My selling strategy was to reach out to electrical contractors, builders and electrical shop owners to make a deal on wholesale volumes and pricing. I was also offering certified modules for customers who committed high volumes.
To promote the product, I gave some samples to local electrical contractors for free and told them they can install them at their customers either for free or charge them as they wished.
I kept a few on the shelves of a few electrical stores considered popular in those areas. I sent a few samples to friends across the country and requested them to install them in their drawing rooms if possible so that when someone visits their house, they could see the units and possibly show interest in buying a few for their homes.
I had also listed the product on Amazon.in so that interested people could buy it online.
